Are the chassis fan connectors on the MB already used? If not you could try them. Did the fan worked before?

Thanks a lot for your help guys, it all seems to be working fine now. I'm so glad, I was really worried I might have fried something... I'll buy an anti-static wrist strap before I clean the computer again.

No worries, we've all been in your shoes at some point. I remember the first time I forgot to plug in the CPU 8 pin on my board. I wigged out for like 3 hours cause I thought I fried the CPU.lachen.gif
