Kinzu g303 mod?

The kinzu shape is my favorite among all mice, but I don't like the sensors. I've used the v1 and v2, the v1 is better but it has positive and negative acceleration. I'm wondering what kind of obstacles I can expect if I attempted to mod in a g303 pcb into the mouse, refurb g303s are pretty cheap now so it could be worthwhile. I'm aware the g303 is a mono-pcb, I think the whole thing could fit into the kinzu after cutting away some of the plastic inside the kinzu.

If you want to keep the original sensor position, your wheel position will be ~ 5-7mm closer to the back unless you want to solder. You also need to install sticks that activate the mainbuttons. <- if you are interested there is a method for good results, if you dont mind handcraft. wink.gif

If you dont care about sensor position, you could use ( i have not meassured it exactly - eye estimation + hand test) original kinzu sticks for the g303 mainbuttons. The wheel will still be closer to the back but less than above ~2-3 mm.
