Remember to explore EVERYWHERE
, and interact with everything
even if it doesn't look like it can be interacted with. This applies to all of them. They are so detailed and interactive, apply some real life logic to the game and don't treat them as just games. The obvious path isn't the only one. Objects aren't placed randomly but with a purpose, and many of them can be interacted with. Storytelling isn't just through cutscenes, it's also done through the environment and exploration can lead to more story material and foreshadowing.
They are unlike most games, especially action games and especially Mankind Divided which is the most dialogue heavy of them all. They are action games that involve so much more than just killing people and/or sneaking around people. They are very literate and atmospheric, like no other.
Even more reason to possibly give the very first game a try. It is rather old now and looked it way back then but with the Revision mod, it looks fairly modern. One of my all-time favorite games.
HR is very good too and recommended. If you don't pick it up, there is an intro video with MD that will "revisit" the events from HR. So if you are only going to get MD, you can at least catch up to whats going on.
But if you want to give yourself an extra 100hrs of solid first rate FPS/RPG gameplay, get the first game, HR and MD. Soak it in. It's a fantastic universe.
@boredgunner I'm sure you're savoring every little detail in MD too.
I look everywhere and read pretty much everything.
