I just can't decide on a new case !

It's time I changed this old case I have since it doesn't seem to like this AIO water-cooler I have installed; it's vibrating very badly.
I've spent like a month looking for the perfect case but there is always something that comes up and it's a deal breaker. I thought I was settled on the Fractal Design Define S until I found out it doesn't have a fan controller and space for an optical drive. I can live without an optical drive but the fan controller is a must to achieve the silence I desire so much.
The Define R5 seems to have all those but I don't know if it will fit the liquid freezer 240, it is 38 mm thick + 2x 25 mm fan thickness, I want to run a push pull configuration. The new H440 seems like a very good option but it also lacks the fan controller.

I am willing to spend about 150$ for the case and it must have the following.

- space for the AIO cooler https://www.arctic.ac/eu_en/liquid-freezer-240.html
- mounting space for at least 1 SSD and 3 mechanical drives
- good airflow and cooling performance for GPU
- as silent as possible
- a fan speed controller
- cable management possibilities
- sound dampening

Optional and very well appreciated features:

- a window, if tempered I am willing to up the price
- some LED lighting
- optical drive support
- no glossy finishing

I am opened to suggestions.

I have the H440. Excellent case. It is EXTREMELY quiet. When I mean quiet, it's probably the quietest case I've ever had..The only thing I hear is the GPU whenever it gets really intense. This all happens because of the great sound dampening all around the case.

LED lighting is pretty good, the window looks fantastic, and the cable routing and the way the PSU is routed makes this case look CLEAN. Don't worry, there's tons of space to put cables. The majority of them will fit on the side panel, but since there's that spot on the bottom half of the case, the cables can fit in there as well. This also helps with the cooling.

As far as fan speeds and controlling goes, you can add a fan controller, which isn't a big deal. You shouldn't really need a fan controller anyways, because there is a PWM module on the back which you can configure in the BIOS..

Let me know if you have questions.

Can I fit the radiator on top with a push pull configuration ? Total thickness will be 88 mm almost 9 cm.
How resistant to scratches is the window ?
Are there 2 versions of the H440 ?

Yes you can do a push pull..I've seen YouTube videos of people with those configurations. I've never done it myself, but I'm sure it'll fit. There's alot of space at the top of the case.

I've had my case for about 8 months and I only have one white-ish looking scratch on it. I lean my guitar on it all the time. It has a bit of a glossy finish on it. (I'm not sure what it is...clear coat or something) So it's pretty good when it comes to scratching.

I only know of the different colors of the H440. I don't know if there is an V2 or something.

If you have time could you post some pics ?
And if it's not too much to ask , could you do some measuring to see if you have 9 cm on top or in front. I just want to be sure the rad fits.
If you have any inconveniences with the case please mention them here.

Well I don't personally do a push pull configuration, but you can check out my build on my profile. I have an H100i GTX on the top, but the fans are on the inside of the case. I could take some measurements for you, but it'll take me a bit of time.

I came upon a video and some photos showing a front intake push/pull configuration. I'm not sure if you're interested in doing that but it worked out pretty good for the guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP1hSH9ZwXk

In my opinion, it looks pretty good. You get the same amount of airflow coming in and out, but that's all up to you. Let me know what you think.

EDIT: Here's a link to someone who did a push/pull. They tried the top and stated it wouldn't fit even with a slim radiator. http://www.eteknix.com/nzxt-h440-full-tower-chassis-review/4/

Your build looks very nice!! The white themed motherboard goes so well with the case.
I guess a push pull configuration is possible in the front of the case which is a good spot because the radiator is hidden.
Only thing different front the video is that my radiator is a bit thicker but there seems to be enough space there.
One other thing i am worried about is fan controlling. My motherboard does have 4 chassis fans but only 1 seems to be able to control fan speed. If I could conect that 1 chassis fan into the hub and split the signal to all the other fans. Not sure that would work though.

Any other suggestions ?
The NZXT Noctis 450 looks allot better in my opinion than the H440 and it has a PWM fan hub. Does anyone have some experience with it and with radiator fitting ?

With the H440 there's a hub on the side of the case that allows you to connect up to 4 case fans. The hub itself uses one connector that plugs into the motherboard and you control it from the BIOS. Most motherboards only have one of these, just like yours.

I don't have experience with the Noctis 450.
