290X DX11 1440p Ultra I get Average 65 fps. CFX does not help much. DX12 is a bit lower. If DX12 was giving 100% GPU usage you should be getting 100 fps +

CFX is working for me, I don't have both GPU's pegged at 100% like Mahigan, but I have no issues with it at all

Can you guys run the newest afterburner and RTSS, and take a screenshot of CFX working in DX12 in BF1 with the OSD showing DX12, framerate and GPU usage., because I just ran it in DX12 and CFX was a no go.

It does not work for me. I do not even have to see if second GPU is active but look at fps.

yeah I know me and you are in the same boat tongue.gif, that is why i asked those two to do it. I have a feeling it is still rendering in DX11 in their case. So if they use ab and rtss it will say in the osd which renderer it is using,.

So far DICE and AMD are both saying DX12 and CFX are not working in BF1 yet, but these two have it working apparently so it would be cool to see if they really do, and maybe we can figure out how to get it working for everyone.

I've have some bad luck with Crimson and RX video cards.

Unplayable screen flickering everywhere regardless of what I'm doing using 144 Hz to GPU throttling down to 300 mhz for about 5 seconds then going back.

Regardless of settings, stock, increased power limit all the way to completely fresh OS installations.

Train wreck experience for me. Maybe it's just those with 144 Hz monitors

Anyway, I've spent too much time over the last few weeks trying to fix or find workaround solutions. Till things work as they should I'm stuck with Nvidia...I feel dirty.

Here are the drivers I am using and the setting in CCC: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

and here you can clearly see it is using DX12, and only using one card, no CFX at all: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Would love to see how @Mahigan and @diggiddi got it working.

@the9quad

Try changing the crossfire option from "Default Mode" to "AFR Friendly" or "Optimize 1x1" to see if this gives you usage on both cards in D3D12 mode.

I've come to believe that it's up to the Dev to code D3D12 multi-GPU support rather than from a driver stand point until MS release the mGPU support for D3D12's composite engine/path.

Yes, 144Hz has issues. It is suggested you drop down to 120 Hz and all of that flickering will disappear.

It is a bug and AMD are aware of the issue.

The performance also shot up... now ranging between 60-80FPS.

Can it be that developers added multi adapter in beta orthe driver had support for AFR in DX12?

also it seems with DX12 it was using more CPU or MSI AB monitoring is wrong, any reason to use beta MSI AB?

The beta msi ab has support for dx12 overlays with rtss
