CPU Heatsink for Cooltek W2 (163mm clearance) - Page 2

The Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT looks like it would suit a black version of the W2 really well. @doyll Are you able to confirm whether this image from Thermalright regarding the flush fan is accurate:

If it is and the entire unit (including fan) doesn't exceed 159mm, the Grand Macho should fit inside the W2 along with the TY-147 fan.

And this rolling LAN party case will fit even an E-ATX board...

As long as the ASUS Strix Vega GPU stays colour neutral (it makes sense they keep the same DC3 cooler from the Pascal range of nVidia GPU's and Polaris RX480 GPU) or Sapphire release their Nitro with a black shroud like the Fury Nitro and 480 Nitro, it could work. Sapphire also tend to use silver in their backplates, which could be perfect.
Probably gonna wait for Zen/Kaby Lake and Vega, but I could theoretically build right now as everything should fit. I'll put up a build log when I start building.

You might be dyeing to see this thread.

"Black, brown and silver" theme would be very classy. Look forward to your build log. I don't really, but it's the weekend, and my W2 abstinence therapist says I need to be polite. biggrin.gif

I'm not doyll (don't even play him on the internet), but RAM/MB permitting should be able to easily keep the fan under the 163mm threshold.

Since I can't get the Macho here in Canada as well as the W2 that I can't get here, I'll be doubly jealous and your eveel plot to torment the colonies with exquisite aesthetic choices will be complete.
