Get a life.

Maybe not with Nvidia, but that 49% on Windows 10 seems way off.

And your masters nursing and statistics would require a minimum sample size which you will have to know the size of and for example if a 1000 was the minimum you could not have 500 refuse and then publish with 500 results you should need to find another 500 results for it to be valid.

Whats the criteria for steam, no one has a clue

Another consideration is the number of people who respond to a study as a portion of those invited. A bias can result when the response rate is low due to nonresponse bias (the difference between the number of participants and those who declined to participate).

A true published scholarly study would include the methodology and sample size. I do not think the steam survey is very representative as they use a convenience sample of the users of steam. I know many people who don't use steam.

I know many people who don't participate in "a true published scholarly study". That's not a real point. Law of averages and all that.

I'm saying steam doesn't even say the sample size but regardless it is what it is

Fermi Supports DX11, so it should support FEATURE level 12_0. All the new DX12 features are in level 12_1. Not sure if it supports Level 12_0 though via drivers.

Fermi support dx12. Some features through drivers and some through drivers.
Similar to older GCN cards.

Not really.
With how forcefully Microsoft have been pushing Windows 10, putting it in the automatic updates, updating people who didn't even ask for it, with every new computer now you get Windows 10, overall, I'm not surprised at all.

Both initiatives seem to have one person on board in common for both companies...Roy Taylor. First when he was still with NV and now after he moved to AMD.

I see Pascal is a relative failure for Nvidia compared to Maxwell... or maybe not, as their profit margin may be insane. $699 for 300mm^2 GPU. Anyway I still consider Pascal to be disappointing, fast out of the box but under the hood there is no IPC increase, it's all due to GPU Boost 3.0... if Maxwell had shipped with it too then on performance charts Pascal would look like the garbage it truly is when both architectures are pushed to the max.
