Corsair H115i extreme cooling and i7

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

So here is my build
CPU - i7 6700k OC@4.4ghz
GPU - MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X (replacing it with MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk)
RAM - Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 32Gb oc@3200mhz
SSD - Samsung PRO 950 m.2 512gb
SSD - Samsung Evo 850 1tb
MOBO -Gigabyte Z170n Gaming5
CPU COOLER - Corsair H115i Extreme Cooling
CASE - Fractal Design Nano S
PSU - EVGA 650watt (ordered)

When I'm playing CSGO my CPU gets near 70C, playing Battlefield 1 it gets about 69C (average around 65-68C), my fans (noctua industrial 2000pwm) are running around 1000rpm (three 140mm and one 120mm, third intake is my test one, not sure if helps at all)

SO my question is, is it normal T for my CPU? I was expecting it to be around 60s under the casual gaming, was I expecting too much or I'm doing something wrong?

Something is definitely wrong there, im running my 6700k at 4.5 and my temps are virtually the same as yours and im on air. i would check to make sure the waterblock is seated both correctly and is making full contact ( just take it off and check the paste, if the paste is good and your sure there is solid contact go to next step ) because you have the I version you can control it, ( though im unsure of what all is controllable as ive never used it), set the pump to 100% and temp check, really your fans at 1k rpm should be enough but i would also do a check ramping your fans up to at least 80% and temp check again, just to see if you CAN drop the temps down by a significant margin. Though i would say that right now its either a faulty pump or it isnt fully seated correctly leading to those temps. hope this helps a little bit, and hopefully some other people have things to try or suggestions that may be better then mine as i havent owned a AIO before.

What is your CPU voltage at? Did you just change the cooler or is this a whole new build?
