Assistance with EVGA 1080 Temperatures

Thread Starter
I have been trying to monitor my GPU temps as best I can. Only game I am playing atm is Dead by Daylight and I absolutely CANNOT get EVGA Precision OR MSI AfterBurner overlays to work with this game. Anyways...

I have an EVGA 1080 FTW and it will usually idle around 35C-40C and while gaming I have seen temps as high as 81C (ish) (remember I essentially have to alt tab since the game won't work with overlays) and I am wondering if this is normal. I really ask because DbD shouldn't be a demanding game... like at all but I feel like it is somewhat.

Anyways, wondering what I should be expecting temp wise at load for my card. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I should note that it is pushing a 3440x1440 resolution

Mine doesn't get that hot, 76ish is the highest Ive seen, but I am also not asking it to do much right now...currently running 1080p/60. My friends has hit 86 I believe...I don't think i'd worry too much about it..I think the thermal limit on these is in the upper 90s...
