Parvum cases customer service...

Hello everyone,

wanted to register an account under better circumstances, to share my build and how awesome it came out (after no building anything for years...) But unfortunately I've made a mistake of purchasing a Parvum case.... Everything started pretty awesome in early July, when gentleman over at parvum said that due to the workload and hot weather (28 degrees celsius) the order would take a maximum of 30-35 days, all things considered I agreed with the timeline, thinking that it will take me longer to get my 1080 FE's, water blocks and other minor parts. However it's already 1.5 months in (7th July - 2nd September) and the same gentleman at the above mentioned company keeps lying to me on daily basis, say that the case, would be manufactured next week, than claiming that they have troubles with the suppliers so they can't manufacture the case right now and would need another week. So like a decent person I have asked for either finally deliver the case (mind you I'm in Canada, Parvum is in UK) or provide me with a refund so I can take my money elsewhere cause' all the parts are here and even the cables are sleeved but the case is not even manufactured. So in response to my request I get an email saying that the case is ready and will be shipped the next day (read as today) and the person would look personally into shipping me the case and it should take 3 b-days to arrive (which is technically is lie due to them claiming to ship it with UPS and yet again from UK to Canada...) but yet again no tracking number or any sort of confirmation of the case being shipped...

Sorry for the first post being negative and I'd like to note that I never had in mind to grind anyone's gears.

So the question is, I know there is a quite a big Parvum community, can you guys advise me on what to do? As I'm kinda at the point where I feel scammed and can't get neither my money nor the case.

Thank you!

I don't have experience with Parvum but I would say rule #1 when you want something custom you must be willing to wait an unreasonable amount of time to receive it (Caselabs also has huge delays right now) and rule #2 purchase using a credit card with buyer protection options so if it comes down to it you tell the supplier you are going to dispute the charge if you dont get a tracking number in X days and that will usually change thier attitude immediately.

Sorry to hear your situation. As far as I know this time frame is not uncommon. They are a very small company with very large demand. I ordered my case recently with the expectation that I might not get it for 2-3 months. With custom hand made things this is usually the case (sorry pun). If you ordered a custom guitar for example you can't expect it to take the same time as something pumped out of a very large factory/business. As to the part about them lying, I hope this is not true. They have always seemed very nice and love what they do. I think it is more likely that they have too much work and not enough people.

Hope you get your case soon thumb.gif

Thanks I really hope the situation works out smile.gif

I was ready to wait for a custom case however I would have appreciated an exact timeframe :/, at this point it's more about constant excuses, tomorrows and etc, it's just that don't email a person If you can't deliver, or provide an updated timeframe to manufacture the case if the person disagrees offer a refund. I do understand that they are a small company but, business is business.... smile.gif

You have to remember if you order a custom case this has to be drawn up and then the .CAD to be done and then put in a queue to be cut, all this takes time, id rather wait and get something that i done a rough sketch for, and then a company produce it, ( not many offer this ) And yes Parvum are very small and are like minded modders that have brought this option to be available, if you get a caselabs that to can take upto two months, which is not totally custom and all the parts are readily available. I understand your frustration and im sure it wont be long until you get it, just a stock case can take upto 30 days and a little more from Parvum. They have a owners site on here which you can get in touch with them, here.

I have to side with the OP on this one. While it is true custom manufacturing is going to have a long lead time, the manufacture should be professional and competent enough to provide a reasonably accurate delivery date. The customer is entitled to an accurate delivery timeline so s/he can decide if s/he wants to wait that long or not. Anything less shows either incompetence and/or a customer be hanged attitude.

I also have zero tolerance for a company that ships something without providing a tracking number.

Hi,

Sorry for the negative/slow experience there. If a reply was sent to advise the case has been shipped I would imagine it has, I cannot check until I get to work tomorrow but I will do so for you. UPS service we use is advertised as 1-3 day shipping and if shipped Friday it does usually ship over the weekend.

I won't have a clear answer as to if the case has left or not but I know for 100% it is cut and ready if it has not left it will be leaving Monday.

There was and has never been a time we would not refund a customer. We will do everything we can to keep you happy. If you'd rather a refund than the case I will do that ASAP for you just drop me a DM here. But otherwise I expect the case to be with you ASAP.

If shipped and/or booked I will provide tracking number in the morning also. But understandably if you'd rather a refund let me know.

Either way drop me a quick DM so I can reply to it tomorrow and I will compensate as I do with anyone behind/slow.

Sorry for the speed & service. We are improving daily and have a new staff member helping us get on top of everything so service is improving and orders being fulfilled somewhat faster each week.
