Consider the hexacore X6 1090T if you can find one for a good price second hand. Your motherboard supports it and it will be better overall, also with newer games. It will be more comparable to the FX-6350 you originally wanted than a quad core.

You need a chip that has a name like this "ADX640WFK42GR" The GR means it is a Thuban and they all have six cores and L3. They have the best chance of unlocking one or even two cores and the full compliment of L3. They are locked but easily get to 4.0 GHz with about .1 extra vcore.
