Hehe that's awesome. I love this part:

Luckily for Intel they have a long history of telling the truth and not hiding behind blurry marketing slides meant to mislead through selective disclosures and curiously chosen benchmarks.

So this is telling us that:
Bulldozer 100%
Piledriver 1 * 1.15 ->> x1.15 Bulldozer
Steamroller 1.15 * 1.12 ->> x1.29 of Bulldozer
Excavator 1.29 * 1.10 ->> x1.42 of Bulldozer
Zen is 40% faster than Excavator so:
Zen 1.42 * 1.40 ->> x1.98 of Bulldozer

So...where is the problem?

Someone should make a guide on writing AMD articles to get clicks and page views.
1)Add the words "Zen", "Failure" in the title
2)Use random numbers for speculation
3)???
4)Profit

Misleading title omits the ? That infers speculation.

OCN is turning into Anandtech. Shame its ignore feature isn't as robust. Wouldn't even have to see threads like this.

I love how you guys believe any speculations when it's in your favor but when it's not you trounce all over it saying it can't be true.

AMDs own slide shows that zen is X2 the performance as an 8100.   If an 8100 really only gets ~500 in cinebench, then we can expect zen to net around 1000 right?  My 4790k gets higher then that.

Real question is, what is Orochi and is it really the 8100 or the 8350.

Seeking alpha doing what they do best, writing click-bait articles.

Any sampling should always omit the lowest and highest data sources as anomalies.

Seeking Alpha is the absolute septic tank of AMD coverage. They try to hide their bias behind market research disclaimers, but they know who butters their bread.

Do the speculations in question get an entire thread with a source to make it look authoritative? The title of this thread is misleading to the point of absurdity, suggesting that AMD has confirmed Zen troubles.
