[Official] NVIDIA GTX 1060 Owner's Club - Page 13

It seems that I have highest Valley score in this thread. Well, that's something. I think I can push it further tho.

Special thanks to STRIX card, this **** is retardedly overkill. Its like 60C under load. Dead quiet. OC in the sig. Anybody got stock 980Ti for comparison?

Maybe it has more to do with the Strix bios then. Well it will be interesting to see if there will be drops on this card once I put the arctic freezer on it. I doubt it will get to 50c on water even if it just a closed loop.
In EU messing with the stickers should void warranty at least when they check for it in the service center. Retailers won't care about stickers or know what stickers are supposed to be where. In US there is some law that invalidates the stickers but still can be a hassle when you do an RMA.

I need some comparison numbers, temperature before and after TIM change in the same application/load being used.

I'm torn with getting rid of my ssc gtx 970 and pay the difference for a 1060. I'm actually content with the fps I get gaming at 1080p 144hz so wonder how much of a upgrade this really is versus 970 sli.
