Introduction:
Been a long time since I last did a build and have something special planned for this one. I am updating my very first rig, Project TGB and doing some pretty serious upgrades for the hardware as well as the aesthetics. This will be the third build which I have done under Project B and this one is close to my heart as I have been toying with the designs for close to two years now. There have been many different inspirations and drives towards making a wallmounted PC and have been around in my sketches for probably nearly 2 years now. During this there have been many different builds I have seen through this time which really drove me to keep going and try and get the build made, chiefly @MakiRole with his insane Loramentum build which just BLEW my mind! I am really happy that I am finally in a position where I can afford it financially and also spend the time on the build that it will deserve! Now onto the specs.

Case:
The case has been made by the amazing guys over at Parvum Systems specially for this build and I cannot thank them enough for the hard work that they have put into the build. Personally I would like to thank @imersa who has helped from the very start. I have included the final renders below and will post some pictures when it arrives hopefully in the next few days. The main concepts behind the design are for a minimalist build accented with a Koi fish reservoir. All this with as little tubing as possible and still achieving a sleek and elegant final piece. Here are the final renders of the case that I will be mounting everything to. It has been designed to reduce the amount of tubing needed as much as it can using channels cut into the acrylic to allow the coolant to travel to all the needed places. The way it will be mounted is through the same method as any monitor and I intend to mount it onto a single monitor stand for the time being but have plans to adapt it for a wall mount later down the line.

Long delay due to me getting some work building PC's for my university so will be starting posting building early next week. Big update on the specs with the decision to upgrade the system to the x99 platform by swapping the motherboard from the Asus z97 Gryphon Armour edition to a EVGA x99 Micro 2 motherboard. The CPU from an i7 4790k to an i7 6850k and the RAM from 16GB of Corsair DDR3 2133MHz RAM to 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz RAM. Should give the system a bit more power I think! Also @imersa was kind enough to send me over some images of the case during production so here they are!

Yes have been really busy as I got into university and haven't done much in the way of PC building etc. Currently building some PC's for the Computing department at my university and also got the money together to do a large scale upgrade of my system! Glad to be back feels right and can't wait to get on with the build!

I have some high quality plastic polish that I have used on some EK Acrylic blocks before to get them like glass you think that would work as well? I've googled about the blue polish that you mentioned and seems its all for metal is that the one you mean or am I being slow.

Been playing around with the photo setup I have here at uni, had to borrow a camera and lights so not the setup I am used to and could do with some feedback. I've taken some test photo's of the GPU with a base setup of two lights pointing at 45 degrees into the background and using the marco lens on the camera. Anyone with experience / more know how please give advice / tips. I took them in RAW format and used Camera Raw and photoshop to retouch.

Due to file size I used photoshop to change the image size down to about half of what it was not sure if this is the correct way to do it but again any feedback would be great.

They are Dedo 3 Head DLH4 that I am borrowing they don't have any sort of soft boxes with them and am not really wanting to spend my money on an add-on to someone elses lights. Is there anything I can do to help? Could moving them away from where I am taking the photos help?

That can help a little but you really need something to defuse them. If you don't have access to real soft boxes you can use rice paper/cooking paper which is really cheap. Also bouncing the light off something like a white bed sheet can work well. Basically direct light on your subject/object is usually a no no. If you want to get professional results it will take a lot of practice and trail and error to see what works with what you have and what you are trying to shoot.
Again I am no pro, and there are many great photographers on here that I'm sure can give you much more detailed advice. Hope this helps

No problem thanks for the help you have given so far! I will have a play with different settings on the lights as well as the camera and see what I can get. I will see if I can get some cooking paper tomorrow from the shop and see what results I get!

I played around with some settings and spent some more time editing the photos as well as changing how the lights were setup and have these two. I tried to use similar angles to the previous two.

Still open to any feedback on what you think! One question I have is what lens should I be using? I have a 40mm Macro and a EFS 18-135mm with the camera what would be best to use?

For a comparison I have two near identical angled pictures:

With Marco Lens:

With EFS Lens:

Which is the best out of the two in your opinion? Also should I be using more than two lights just looking for anything which could improve my picture quality.

Nice work there, that looks easy to produce in mass and marketable! Are there any commercially available wall mount cases yet? These renders look easily good enough to be one.

Would purchase.
