The Lost Legacy is way more open world than any other Uncharted game. Plenty of new game mechanics. The visuals are incredible on a proper HDR TV, especially the night scenes. You can see that this game is made with the Pro in mind, compared to the fast patch Uncharted 4 had.
But OK, It was supposed to be "more of the same" - which is not always bad, and "shorter" (hence the price).
Next PS4 game for me is going to be Grand Turismo Sport (and Matterfall when discounted)
I'm really looking forward to God of War, Days Gone and The Last of Us 2... These titles are the main reason I got a PS4 Pro to begin with (together with Horizon Zero Dawn, which was (and still is) incredible - 75 hours played - Will get the DLC)
Sure it has a few open world sections but it isnt an open world game, cant think of any other area that was open world. That bit was decent. But the combat, the story and everything just felt kinda old. Even though the story is new it still had sections that felt like they were ripped straight from older games in the series. That is true about the price, that does make it more reasonable, though it still felt like its just that little bit too short. Sure, visually great. Visuals however doesnt make a game good. This is a decent game, id give it a 7/10 myself.
I do however think its a great starting point and could see this become a proper series in itself, think this was more of a test the waters. See how the audience likes the new main character and such and that i did like They both had great chemistry together without needing to have some rubbish love thing going on. The ending kinda leans to my theory.
Not sure what my next PS4 game will, im keeping my eye on GT used to play the hell out of that but been left disappointed with recent entries. Days Gone looks insane but we'll see how it ends up, very good potential. The Last of Us 2 is a must buy, love that game and already have the LDC for HZD preordered
