The replacement cables I am seeing on Ebay don't seem very suitable as they are not shielded.

I got this one from Amazon.

Loop complete. Leak testing.

:thumb:Murphy Dog, Thanks for the info. Amazon wont send stuff to us across the Pacific for some strange reason???
I think I am going to plug everything directly in my m/board for now. Not as attractive I know, but reliability is paramount for me. Very disappointing Thermaltake can't get their act together regarding these.

However, if you actually read the specs, TT says the available height is 450mm and the EK rad is 460mm. Not a perfect fit. It fits width wide, however it extends 10mm above the top edge of the case. I did a search on FrozenCPU and apparently the EK rad is one of the shortest 420's I can find. I can't find any 420 rads that are <= 450mm tall. I'm not going to sweat it. This is an open case. The tubes will only extend beyond the top a tiny bit.

I could simply move down to a 360 rad, but my major design goals are overclocking and silence. Large, slow fans will give me that (I hope).

is the Thermaltake PACIFIC RIPTIDE 420 Extreme will be to long for the case ( cause i allready bought it and ship it overseas redface.gif ) ??
nice work by the way thumb.gif

The riptide 420 will fit, but it will also stick out the top a little. It's actually 2.5mm taller than the EK.

Well, she boots! After 24 hours of leak testing I plugged everything in, crossed my fingers and turned it on. I don't have a test bench so the only thing I did before putting everything together was make sure the MB powered up. I've been terrified that I'd have a hardware issue after putting everything together and building the custom water loop. I was able to boot and install Windows 10 without issue....

HOWEVER.... My LAN connection keeps dropping every 1-2 minutes (then takes about 20 seconds to a minute to come back). It drops as if it thinks there is no ethernet cable. I installed all the latest drivers and updated the MB bios and it's still doing the exact same thing. Replaced the cable, no help. Try the cable in a different computer, no problem.

Looks like I have some research to do. Hoping this is a software issue and not a hardware issue. I'd hate to have to drain the look and pull everything apart.

Many more photos to come once I get this issue sorted out.

It lives! Fixed the lan issue by turning off the energy saving mode. Now trying to figure out why the nvidia installer keeps failing.

CPU temps are perfectly as expected. 29c at idle. Haven't run any benchmarks yet.
