Don't like my Nexus 5x, anything faster?

Had my Nexus 5x for about 6 months and it's already grinding to a halt. What's the best processor out these days for Android?

Just between Chrome & Facebook everything bogs down too much. I'm aware Facebook isn't a great app, but it's one of the main I use. Phone is rooted, everything else is stock.

USB C is a requirement

Best processor is a Qualcomm 820 chipset. Depends really what you want in a phone. Higher res screen, camera, battery life, they all play a roll.

I am still rocking a LG G3 and it has served me well. The sim card slot is a little broken at this point and the screen is a bit darker than my liking. I've been eyeing the Oneplus 3. The LG G5, V11? or V20 I can't remember, Galaxy S7, and some other flagships have the newer chipset.

More expensive phones tend to have better cameras though(which is what i'm in the market for now) thumb.gif

8890 poops all over the 820 whether it's real world performance or battery life, just make sure the phone you pick up supports the bands your carrier uses.

I've had many Nexus phones and like my N5x for the most part. However, when I use Navigation and then try to play music or do anything else I get the same issue where it's almost impossible to use.

I think it's the memory to be honest. 2gb just isn't enough. Tax return time, One Plus 3 here I come.

Well, the Google Pixel phones just launched, if you want the fastest, they're probably going to be just that, considering they're using the new Snapdragon 821 Soc.

I find the Pixel to be a joke. $650 for a slightly faster processor? I would expect a custom processor or something more different than what they already have out for that price. Only thing going for it is it's camera apparently.
