SM951 with half the Seq Read Speed

Hey everyone,

I need some help. I just got another SM951 and ran into a situation. This one unlike others seems to generate only half the speed of the sequential read speed. The write speed seems unaffected but all the read speeds are roughly at around 50% of what it's supposed to be. Do you think this is a defective module? I tried everything I know but I came up short to explain this. Some technical advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since read speeds which tend to be higher, it's probably that you're on a half-speed M.2 slot or your CPU is hogging up PCIE lanes, check your motherboard manual. My guess is you're just not running into any bus limitations with the lower writes. You could also try the Samsung NVME driver as well and see but I've read reports of system instability with that and the SM951- but you can always remove it.
