Is there any good alternative for the cryorig h5 for the price?

I mean, about 45-50€.

Something better, quieter, cooler or something?

I tried the h5 and im not very happy with it.

Thank you!

My problem with the h5 is that!.
The fan has some weird rpm curve and is always spinning too fast :S
Also i saw in the "official" cryorig post on the forum that everyone is changing the cryorig fan of the h5/r1 for a thermaltake one, so... why not gettin a cryorig cooler ?

Thats why i dont like the cryorig h5

Check this

The range of rpm is awful! :S

Maybe im going toward the thermaltake macho!
You think is a nice option?

But i have one problem.
My case has a 161mm limit and tha thermaltake macho is 162mm :S

With that height limit, will be pressing the side panel. What case is it?

The Scythe Fuma will fit with room to spare.

Could just purchase a Thermalright TY-147A to replace the Cryorig fan.
Haha thats the reason because i cant find it in amazon xddddd.

Is a bad thing that the cooler "touchs" the panel? D:

The case is a nox hummer zx

Not a good thing to have the panel put pressure on the cooler/motherboard, but could mod the hummer with a hammer.

Probably better, as Gilles3000 suggests, to consider the Le Grand Macho. Or as I suggested the Fuma. Or a TY-147A fan for the H5.

The 140 Rev A will not fit without a bigger hammer and a dremel.

Can you order from a nearby country? Slipping the 162mm high Macho in the Hummer will be tight.

A decent alternate could be the Macho Direct (158mm height):
http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/macho_direct.html?panel=1

It comes with the tres sexy TY-147B fan with the same 300-1300rpm range as the TY-147A. The Direct is the lowest cost Macho and fares well in performance compared to the H5.

Thanks!

The specs on the site are wrong.

It says 147a fan also :S

Just to be clear, am I correct in assuming this about changing an entire cooler due to a dislike for the fan curve? And that the tower itself is perfectly serviceable (the H5 is at the top of it's class)? And that this is somehow seen as a more efficient solution than simply changing the fan?

Pretty much that. Perhaps you've read the stories about a woman scorned - they're based on an enthusiast annoyed.
