Logitech Z623. Got mine a few months ago and love em.

Do you have a spending limit?

Rokit monitors. Those will break the bank.

However before that the best 2.1 setup I found that was amazing and didn't break the bank was a some mono price bookshelf speakers paired with one of their subwoofers.

I've used the corsair sp2500, cant complain about those

As above said the z623s are great

JBL and m-audio makes good stuff

Only set I recall owning that I had a terrible time with is the klipsch pro audio 2.1

Budget is around 200€. I had a chance to use Bose Companion 3 (older gen) and I'm blown away with them, the best 2.1 speakers that I've ever heard, such a lush sound, deep and super controlled bass, mids that are very well textured and non-sibilant highs. On the other side I really haven't heard Z623 by Logitech but I've seen many good reviews.

So, not many recommendations other than Logitech Z623?

Behringer MS40 Active 40W Monitor Speakers - Good quality and performance for the price here but it's two speakers only.

M-Audio AV32.1 2.1-Channel Powered Speaker System - Another real good priced speaker set.

Bose companion 5 series - Seriously stylish and looks like a piece of Art sitting on your desk. Expensive though.

Just three I could think of, with a 2.1 set up as per your original request.
