Difference between some of EVGA's 1080 GPU'S.

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting a 1080 for my upcoming build and decided to go with EVGA since they have the best customer service in case **** hits the fan tongue.gif

I'm currently eyeballing the gtx 1080 Classified, FTW, and FTW Hybrid. I'm thinking about going with the classified but when I added these three cards and compared them on their site, the only difference I see and I mean the only difference, is that the classified uses 245 watts as opposed to the other two which use 215 watts. Is the only reason the classified costs more $ is because there is more OC headroom?

P.S. I'm also considering the Zotac gtx 1080 AMP Extreme since it seems to be the fastest gtx 1080 around but I'm leaning more towards EVGA because of their excellent RMA service. Does anyone here have any experience with ZOTAC's RMA service? The AMP extreme is the same price as the classified and with higher clock speeds.

This should help: http://au.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-6286-KR

In the table below the selected product you can see differences between the models. Clock speeds, power connectors, power phases, cooler type, etc. Very handy for picking the right model for your needs.

If price is not an issue then the Classy for sure is the way to go. I've got a pair of Superclocked GTX 780s (6GB model) and they're still running strong with no issues. EVGA is truly one of the top Nvidia AIB manufacturers.
