External Blu-ray drive in enclosure reliable?

Thread Starter
I'm considering to pick the phanteks enthoo evolv atx as my next case, but I'm still dependant on my Blu-ray drive to make backups.

Is it a bad idea to go external with it and maybe instead better to look for a case with slots?

Don't see how it would be a bad idea, unless you knock it off your desk a lot or something and don't mind having a USB port filled.
