Anywhere that's a digital copy. You can buy it on Amazon if you want, then you redeem the code they send you via the Xbox app. Don't redeem it on xbox.com, a lot of people have reported the code getting accepted but then not being able to download it on neither their Xbox One or PC.

GTX 1060 3GB VS RX 470 4GB: Forza Horizon 3 PC Benchmarks

ComputerBase review is up too.

There is a problem

In the first few minutes makes the game, the Windows 10 and DirectX 12 requires, so everything right. After at least five minutes but notice that there is a huge hook. And the reason is quickly in Microsoft's Universal Windows platform found. Once again .

In the end there is only one possibility, Forza Horizon 3 to get on the PC really liquid: You have to enable VSync, and the frame rate may fall at any time below 60 FPS on a 60Hz monitor. Then the racing game running impressive buttery soft.

The test method: FPS not count

The classic frames per second are even in normal play is not a perfect guide for the performance, but quite a good and representative approach. This does not apply for Forza Horizon 3 due to the behavior of UWP and the requirements of the game, however. Accordingly, it is completely dispensed with in the following tests on the FPS.

For tests with switched off VSync currently useless, so VSync is consistently activated. Instead frametimes play (measured with PresentMon ) an important role, because they show the problems of the game instantly on. However Frame Time diagrams are confusing due to the very high number of measurements.

According to this test, only the 1080 offers a totally smooth gaming experience at 1080p and 1440p. Quite meh...
Except for the RX 480, Hawaï and Fiji results are awful, the same for the GTX 970 ones.
The way Microsoft want to promote DX12 is quite incomprehensible, another game with massive flaws at launch, and that's their own API on a Microsoft Studios game ?!?

So, both this and Joker's video show 470 and 480 superior to NV counterparts, with far better minimum FPS. The game-play is also smooth on AMD cards, less so on NV. I don't know how those 2 youtube results differ so much compared to computerbase.de.

They likely put some kind of effort on the review. Most youtube reviews are a joke anyway.

On youtube you can usually actually see the test being run, unlike written sites... and computerbase.de had some rly strange results lately...

Will wait for Digital Foundry to release their video(s). I trust them the most in their testing procedure.

A really interesting video from Digital Foundry, not a new comer on youtube. I recommend you to visualize it, they explain the problem really well.

So, to run 60 fps locked on 480 you need a mix of high/ultra settings and 0x msaa, while 1060 cannot reach steady 60 fps even then. But 1060 is running better on ultra as it is less CPU limited then...

But the game will be patched further and new drivers will be released...
