Riva Tuner crashing my OCed GPU driver?

Hello

it might be a complete silly analysis but it seems that the software I am using for IN GAME monitoring (CPU load, GPU load, temps, FPS, VRAM usage etc) is actually crashing my card driver making my gaming experience really not enjoyable.

I am OCing a low profile 750Ti to ~1330Mhz GPU core and 6300Mhz memory, its a model WITHOUT any 6Pin connector so I cant pass beyond this wall, its lacking Voltage/power.

using games like Project cars or Witcher3 as benchmark, I have noticed that logging in Riva Tuner server in combination with HWMONITOR to show statistics IN GAME, it would make the card unstable at these max clocks if I compare to same GPU core&memory conditions without starting up RTTS.

is that something people have experienced here or I am just exaggerating its influence on my GPU OC? I have not tried yet to uninstall RTTS and install an older version to do some troubleshooting, is there good alternatives to RTTS with the same functions that I should look at in the meantime?

thanks in advance

Olivier

Yes, OSD is known to crash video drivers when overclocking. I can vouch because whenever I enable OSD my 780 drivers instantly crash. I think that JayzTwoCents addresses it in one of his videos.

ok thanks.could be also my 750ti is at its limits of what it can deliver without voltage/power increase but yes I will avoid OSD with RTTS for now.
