Razer Deathadder Elite (2016) - Page 151

My standard elite weighs about 96g. I'm not sure why Razer lists it higher.

There are no differences in weight between the two. I have both the Destiny 2 Edition (reviewed) and original Elite.

Hey guys. How is the Lift of Distance on the Elite compared to the Chroma? I always found that the LOD on the chroma was a tiny bit too high ( not really high in the first place though ). A lower LOD on the Elite would make me try it out i think. Also can someone give feedback on the M1 & M2 button from the Elite compared against the Chroma? With completely stupid mouse buttons these days, like on the zowie fk series, i always appreciated the mouse button feel from the Deathadder Chroma. Very light click with just enough resistance to avoid accidental clicks. Also never had missing clicks, unlike with the FK series. Even modded with omron switches quite often a keypress didn't actuate because i didn't apply enough force onto the terrible FK shell. So a ( much ) stiffer click on the Elite compared against the Chroma would be a no no for me.

The Elite LOD is lower. The clicks for M1 & M2 are similar. I enjoy them.

Sounds great, thanks.

Is it possible to solve the problem of a double click?

I've owned a DA:Chroma now for about 2 years and an Elite now for a few months. I have yet to experience a double click issue and what not. Every top tier mouse I've used (and returned or given away) has had some quirk to it all be it rattle, ghosting, iffy M1/M2 buttons, etc. etc. etc. It's no excuse for a $60 mouse, but overall, the mouse has been my G.O.A.T. mouse.

You might get lucky and be able to get a canned air straw/tube under there to clean the switch, but with previous models, it's been recommended to pop it open and use an electronics cleaner to clean the switches up. That is if it's out of warranty.

I picked up one of these at work today nice mouse I think the feet are nicer than the Chroma the texture on the shell isn't as good as the Chroma though.
I canceled my G403 orders and picked up two more of these was worried the Logitech wouldn't hit it out of the park like the last 3 diferent ones I picked up.

Does anyone else of you guys wishes that they would finally ged rid of these god awful rubber sidegrips as well? I know this is 100% a preference thing but i always found them absolutely horrible. I could at least stand them on the chroma but it appears that they have gotten worse on the elite. What makes this whole rubber side grips thing especially stupid to me is that they have got such a great surface coating on the whole mouse by now in my opinion. They could at least offer two different options for their king of the hill mouse. A version with and without these awful rubber sidegrips. Wouldn't even cost them much effort to do so and people could simply pick the one of their choice.
