Razer Deathadder Elite (2016) - Page 20

I find it odd that the only oen i seen bring up the click latenzy is Derp in this thread.

With razer claiming 3-4ms click latency is to fast and leads to phantom clicks..........

I though you all hated bat latency clicks. tongue.gif

Noob Question: What exactly is PTE? Is it good or bad? thx smile.gif

I don't like razer as a company i prefer logitech(better tech, quality) but i believe the DA is the single good product razer still makes, despite some QA issues imo it's a solid mouse, nice shape/sensor/side buttons. When i'm in a slump i always go back to my DA but there's the annoying synapse to lower lod etc(when i plug out the mouse the settings are lost and i need to reinstall this bloatware) which drives me away after a while, it's a love/hate relationship for me also. tongue.gif

Because the quote is so dumb that I wonder that if the tomshardware guy who wrote that just plain made it up?

How do you know that? The current DA does have limited onboard memory for dpi, polling rate and light settings. Although I doubt Razer will ever bring back full onboard memory, it would still be interesting if the new DA Elite keeps at least that limited onboard memory that the current DA still has.

Well said! That's pretty much exactly what I think. I have that bad feeling that Razer will **** up their last decent mouse too, by removing the last bit of onboard memory. We'll see. frown.gif

Philips Twin Eye laser sensor used in most Razer mice. It is known to have Z-Axis issues (inconsistently reads vertical movements). I can only speak for the Lachesis and Lachesis 5600. The Z-Axis bug is pretty strong on the Lachesis, but almost unnoticable on the Lachesis 5600. But according to RocketJumpNinja, the newer mice like Mamba TE, have obvious Z-Axis issues and even slight sensor lag.

TL;DR: Not good.

phillips twin eye sensor, the one used in the mamba, plagued by the z-axis bug , its alright for general use but other than that, not the best

I posted the same thing in

[WC] Razer Deathadder Elite Announced! news thread.

I owned the copperhead which I was a huge fan of because the design made sense, you use "if right handed" your left thumb and right pinky to guide the mouse, on the copperhead, the side buttons were so low it made sense.

See?

Any who, I owned the deathadder 2013, wheel broke, rma'd it, the brand new one the left button broke after major use of gaming, another rma, so I gave the third one to a nephew of mine and bought a Zowie ZA11. Knock on wood, no problems with the ZA11.

The left and right side buttons are obsolete to me on the ZA11 and deathadder 2013 because they're to damn high.

See?

Problem with the copperhead is that the butt end was to skinny.

WOW, great find. Didn't know that. Brings up wonderful memories back from the times when Razer was cool. I was a big Razer fan until Synapse killed it.
