How flexible is the cable? Is it nice and soft like Zowie cables, or is it stiff as steel like Logitech cables?

It's a shame the G403... It looked to be the perfect mouse, before people started getting their hands on them.

I'm putting up my g403 for this DA. At least until new feet come out.

It's in between. Definitely better than logitech's braided cable. Liking the mouse a lot compared to G403 or G pro.

They also have changed the shape slightly compared to DA chroma. I can grip the Elite better compared chroma.

I am more interested in the sensor. Beside I will most likely stay with my G403 anyway... Better buttons, better side grip, lighter... I just don't like the cable. I have the DA Chroma too and my G403 is simply better to me.

Is this just random placeholder text by accident at the bottom of the DeathAdder Elite page!? Or could we be seeing Quake Champions branded products, including the DA:E?!

I've tweeted at them to find out more...

Oh... an ESR user mentioned that QC is displayed on the monitor in this image!

Nevermind!

Good to hear. thumb.gif
If my EC2-A broke right now I'd get it.
Just debating whether to wait for something even better or not...

I wish I knew what Zowie is doing and if they're about to release anything right around the corner.
They could just tease a new mouse forever like FinalMouse laughingsmiley.gif

This and the G403 released out of nowhere.

I would expect to see Zowie announce products at their next major gaming event, maybe DreamHack since they sponsor a bunch of tournaments.

The Razer braided cable is certainly what Logitech should be doing if they stick with braids. The Razer cable is solid.

ALRIGHT so I have the got damn mouse and let's get pissed shall we?

QC is Great, no issues at all anywhere on the mouse, no button issues no scuffs(looking at you Finalmouse). No rattles of any kind(Hi logitech), i can shake this hoe and it makes less sound than an empty room, My mouse 1&2 are even, they do not sound different whatsoever. Great job on that.

The sensor is very responsive, I expect nothing less at all. Cpi values were on par with a 1-2 point difference(so 402 when set to 400 dpi)

Here is my issue. It does not save anything for me. Set my dpi to 400, close the software and unplug/replug the mouse just to see if it saves how my chroma and DA black did....NOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Resets itself back to the original dpi presets. Retried 12 times with the same damn result. Why do these 'no software' companies get a great amount of business and hype? For one it is bs like this, 2 it is ease of use. Plug the mouse in and hit a button for dpi, hit a couple(in zowies case) to change polling rate, or just say HERE is the mouse with a set polling rate without being able to change it. Which is pretty much saying 'get used to it jacka$$'. Logitechs software I can launch, make my settings and be done forever. Here with the DA it's not like that, I even set the dpi and polling, reset the computer and the settings were all back to the original. It's dumb and a lot of people who already hate synapse will just pass because of something like this.

Side grips are good, all buttons are good, sensor is great.

But it has that major hang up. Why in THEE SAM HELL will they just not include on board memory?

If you are a DA fan and the having to input your settings each launch crap won't bother you. Then the Elite is A-ok. Very few things annoy me, this most certainly did the job.
