They love the functions, which are no different from any other mouse software. They love the bling bling. But definitely not the forced cloud usage. Maybe they dont mind begause they have only one single Windows computer.

I seriously doubt pro players don't mind. Maybe they accept it due to sponsoring. Synapse is resource hungry, instable, constantly self updating etc. and needs to be present on every machine, just to use the mouse with damn 400dpi. I'm pretty sure no pro likes that.

synapse is such crud. decided to try the 'tournament driver' I had set the stupid chroma thing disabled before I created the tournament driver as it likes to turn the mouse ugly orange when i play overwatch. now with this tournament driver it turns that chroma back on and you can't make any changes

It is. However it's not for answering the same question for 500th time. Especially when there is a thread on main page about DAE internals with specs, pictures and stuff. It's also covered in gaming mouse sensor list thread that's pinned at the top.

Well pretty much ever mouse or at least gaming mouse has memory on the MCU that could be used to save settings don't they?

Yes, polling rate and color are the only settings that are saved on my copy as well.
