A little unnecessary. I mean, the sensor of the Deathadder Chroma is already TOP level, right behind 3366.

I would love to see the 3366->3360 used as it works so well in Logitech mice, but from the advertising it does not sound like it is used. Razer claim to have even more native dpi then everyone else (...why though?), which would rule out the 3360 as it brings its own lens.

Current 336xs aren't pushed at their limits though. It's perfectly reasonable to assume it shares this architecture. Especially given marketing material.

Other than that... ESPORTS!!!. Rather sad that everyone knew the direction, but marketing was too hesitant in pushing stuff like this 3 years ago. Doesn't matter if it's Logitech, Razer, or any other side brand. Everyone plays the scared card until we end up in a market that works off what every other industry has been doing for the past 50 years.

Overall I guess I'm salty that I was giving excuses in the past. I mean ya there are obviously external influences at work, but it sucks to see it coming to light when you were told it wouldn't work.

I sure hope the 3366 reference is pushed even further!

(on a side note, who are those filthy casuals that STILL, in 2016, buy the "dpi" hype? Shouldn't that fad have died years ago?)

I felt the same way after finding out my blackwidow ultimate had two different types of switches throughout the board including vintage mx blues and multiple keys that feel squishy and make weird sounds. Young "esports" me used to love Razer products but now older, more knowledgable me looks at this powerhouse company with disgust that they produce products like this at such high prices for really nothing behind them, there are so many better options now adays and feels like Razer is still just trying to eSports the **** out of their brand without really solidifying their products to become better.
