Pretty much every digital/cloud store takes 30%. Steam is most likely no different.

Actually the plot seems really nice, i'm kinda fed up by WWII themed shooters rolleyes.gif. A nice adition to a multiplayer based game.

Complete bf1 is 160$ in canada.

I put less than 100$ in arma 3

I got 1100 hour.

less than 0.10 cent per hour rolleyes.gif

Regardless of how much Valve's cut is for each sale, EA made the decision to invest in Origin. EA is a very successful company. If they made this decision, odds are, it makes sense financially in the long run. Successful companies don't become successful by making bad financial decisions.

You may disagree, but statistics suggest it was a good decision.

True. Steam is also attractive to some devs because of its popularity, which gives games more visibility.

I like Origin tbh. I really enjoy their "on the house" program to try out new and retro games (e.g. C&C: RA2).

I don't really care that i have to install Origin, it's much the same idea as steam. It doesnt affect my computer usage, it doesn't take up loads of space or resources and i don't have to have it running if I'm not on BF.

Also, i can understand 100% why EA wouldn't want to use Steam...

Itt: whiney nerds complaining about something that doesn't affect them, because they have nothing more interesting to talk about haha

I actually much prefer the UI and design of Origin over Steam, its not even close. Origin just works better...

Depends on the amount of games you have to be fair. And the recent origin UI update has made it worse IMO.

Steam is simple and to the point.

Origin uses tiles for the game library... scrolling through 250+ games would be annoying to say the least.

Good point. I only have about 20 games total between a steam and Origin combined.

Why would anyone want to watch it early? If you are getting the game, EA/DICE undoubtedly put something you need for multiplayer in single player. You, yourself, has to play it... Why spoil it now?

It looks pretty good, but I would like to watch an in-game video...
