Once you go SSD, you do not go back.
I have a pretty decent setup but unfortunately, my Windows Installation is on a 7200RPM SATA Drive, while my wife's Laptop from 2006 with a Celeron has a SSD.
Guess, which one boots in 4 secs and is more snappy?
Just received a 525GB MX300 from ebay and I am gonna re-install the OS.
I just hope that price for 1TB SSDs come down to sub $100 by next year, I so want to replace 1 TB SATA with a 1 TB SSD but prices are still high for it.
The power savings and speeds are just worth it. Added reliability and low footprint is another plus.
