Monsoon Fittings?

Thread Starter
I'm debating on what fittings to use in my loop. I'm using 5/8"OD X 1/2"ID Hard Tube. Alphacool, Thermaltake, XSPC, Monsoon......so many possibilities.
Anyone have a preference on one over the other? Or another brand I've yet to see?

I prefer compression fittings that can be tightened ( i'm not sure if the correct word) with a tool that don't leave marks.
Curves i like EK really low restriction and the rarely leak, with Alphacool and Bitspower i don't have good experience redface.gif

I'm really leaning toward the Monsoon Chain Gun Fittings. They have a great look I'm just not sure about the reliability. I wouldn't want any fittings that I was not able to tighten the compression flange.

They look really cool ! the only thing that can fail on a Compression fittings is the o ring and is very unlikely but curves are much more prone to leak ... EK never defrauded me

The chain gun and free center hardline fittings are the most secure thing you can buy. You actually bond a cap to the end of the tube that gives the fitting something to compress against when you tighten it. This video explains it.

If you decided to go this route , I have some red and black chan fittings for that size of hardl line . 3 packs of 4 ready to go , brand new , un used . I will sell for cheap. $50 for all of them .I ended up going a differnt route in my build , or i would have used them , just like mentioned above , they are the best secure hardline fitting around , that is why i wanted to go with them .

Monsoon just released a brand new V2 fitting of their hardline compression, they look awesome and you can get them custom laser engraved with an image of your choice. I'm seriously considering ditching all my Barrow fittings and switching to them. Go to PPCS and check them out, also check out this post to see them engraved.

Thanks that's a great deal unfortunately I don't think that will work with my build. If you still have those in another week please PM me, I may want them for another future build.
