MSI P67-GD65(B3) Strange Problem; not sure if its MB or PS;

I got a strange problem that has been going on for a while now and I haven't really digged into it too much; since I haven't used that desktop in a long while but today I'd figure I'll fix it; if I can.

So here's the strange thing; one day I just turned on the desktop to do some internet surfing; after about 30 minutes the computer just completely shuts off; I thought that was weird; it powered back on fine but then it shuts off again every 30mins to 2hours. It's pretty random; BUT get this; When I play a game i.e. Mass Effect/ The desktop will stay on 24/7!

So when I go to start the desktop; I just kept Mass Effect on and in the background; this for some reason doesn't allow the PC to completely shut off; At first I thought it was a power supply issue but I don't have another power-supply to test; I mean how can it be that when a game is running in the background it stays on 24/7 but the moment I close the game; the PC will shut off after 30min-2hr(or at random times); we aren't talking about a normal shutdown; the PC just seems like you've unplugged the power cord.

I never figured out the issue; When I use it I just keep Mass Effect running (lol) But I'm starting to see that this needs to be fixed. Still got the same issue; Could it be the MB? Any advice?

~ Thank you all in advance.

*Edit- On a side note; I did return all settings in BIOS to Default from my overclocked settings (Since I thought that was the issue but nope; overclocked or normal it still does it)

I could go borrow another Power Supply to test; man that would suck too because I paid good money for this Seasonic X-850 right when it first came out_ I'll give that a try and report back.
