Reference RX-480 Display Port to Dvi Adapter?

Just like the title says.

Has anyone used a Display port to Dvi Adapter on the RX-480 and if so does it work? Wondering if I need a active adapter or if a passive one will work just fine?

Monitor is a 24" 1920x1200 resolution.

Hi,
Posting from my phone so I can't link where I got them easily but I use 2 of them, mine are powered by the displayport but are active and can run 2560x1440 at 60Hz.
In my case, they had to be active and had to be dual link DVI to work with my displays but I don't know if you need an active one for 1920x1200. (Single link dvi should be okay at that res i believe)
Edit: I know I'm still not answering the passive vs active question but the below looks like it should work and is active as an example.
Mine are similar but have dual link dvi.

Thanks a bunch. I figured I could get by with a passive adapter for this resolution. I know you can use a single link with 1080p, but this is slightly higher resolution. I'm not 100% when it comes to adapters haha. I just didn't want to pay 30-40$ for a active adapter when I could use a passive one for 5-6$.

According to google a single link can support 1920x1200 @60hz as its max. The monitor has a refresh rate of max refresh of 75hz, but supports 1920x1200@ 60hz, and 1080p@60hz.

It's for a friend, and I don't think he will want to pay the extra $$ for the dual link adapter just for 15hz higher refresh rate. Gonna go ahead with the passive adapter.
