Okay now he's creating own quotes.

@Arizonian plz end this thread and ban this person.

Didn't say he was right, just that you were talking on different wave lengths. Fairly certain we'd have a whole news thread if you couldn't control the fan. tongue.gif

DX12 needs more time. I'm curious to see how well AMD runs on BF1 when it's released.
Rather, I think that DX12 isn't necessarily better than DX11 at the moment as AMD and its fans would like you to believe. Given time though, it will get better, and by then, Nvidia would have come up with an architecture that runs best on it. Just like how they are with DX11 right now.

DX12 only achievement this year is to provide one of worst port this year rather then providing quality ,which AMD promised.

DX12 achievement
Deus EX Mankind Divided (Worst port this year)
Hitman 2016 (Worst PC port)
Forza Horizon 3 (stuttering mess)
Battlefield 1 Beta (too much lower performance compare to DX11)
Quantum Break DX12 Poster boy (30% slower then Nvidia on Dx11).

That's all I have to say on what this topic is looking like from my point of view.

In OCN their are some people who totally miss advice people to buy AMD products buy simply putting raw performance and forget about the factors like overclocking, cooling, power consumption, Shadow play, geforce experience, fast sync etc.

As right now AMD is only faster in game like Doom, which use Vulkan and Hitman ,which no even bother to play .

Good luck with your non-sequitur.

Personally I have no loyalty to either Nvidia or AMD.

I went with the 390 because it was both cheaper for me at the time, and the 3.5 GB scandal left a bad taste in my mouth. However, I am eyeing Volta, as Nvidia will hopefully add hardware async compute modules to the architecture...

I'm about as poor as they come, as I'm an engineering student without a job currently. But I haven't fretted about my power consumption once.

Though to be fair, I do share utility costs with 3 roommates. However, power is still expensive in my area, especially in the hot summer months.

The explain Forza which is a DX12 exclusive not sponsored by either AMD or nVidia. Why does the R9 290 get 10fps on average more than a 780Ti in Apex? And why is the GTX 980 only 5fps on average higher than the RX470?

This is a CPU management problem. Not a DX12/GPU problem. The stuttering is caused by the Drivatars. It doesn't happen at all when you go online, where there aren't any Drivatars.

It does, but not as bad as people say it is. The devs are working on a fix.

If they make improvements as well as they did with Apex, I wouldn't be surprised if it could be played at 4K 60fps on very high on a GTX970/R9 390 in 6 months time.
