I dunno about this honestly.
It is not just costumers they made angry this time.
It is Valve and Steam in general to the point where Valve kicked all their games of Steam.

You can only commit perjury after you're sworn in under oath and your testimony is on record. A suit and any implications it may make, true or false are not in any way ever considered perjury.
If they dropped the case before it actually went to trial then perjury was never committed.

Yeah they literally ARE the worst games, and that "studio" wasn't much, it was literally a single guy calling himself an indie video game maker and just trying to make money off of the spam games he released without ever really putting work into them.

Digital Homicide may have committed digital suicide but the court system is happy to take to their money regardless of any truth behind their claims.
Add to that, they cancelled their lawsuit.

Even though the suit was dropped, this civil lawsuit still falls under the current definition of perjury as I previously described.

If we're going by Arizona code (DH's studio was based out of Arizona before it closed), you're looking at 4-5 years plus fines.

No. You're not. I promise what you're describing has never happened in the history of lawsuits. Every lawsuit is founded on lies if you're the other party. The point of a trial is to figure out which side is lying and so therefore if it din't go to trial it is 100% impossible to know if a lie was perpetrated. It's also worth noting at this moment that it's not illegal ANYWHERE in the US to lie unless you are under oath. Which is by definition, perjury....in any court....regardless of the state.

Allow me to ask the dictionary for you.

per·ju·ry
ˈpərj(ə)rē/
noun
the offense of willfully telling an untruth in a court after having taken an oath or affirmation.
synonyms: lying under oath, giving false evidence/testimony, making false statements, willful falsehood
