Arctic Liquid Freezer 360

In the beginning of September, Arctic released a 360mm version of their Liquid Freezer series AIOs. I'm interested in purchasing one but since the units are all fairly new, I can't find any reviews or articles about their cooling performance. If anyone has one or knows someone with one could you please write or have them write a basic overview of how the unit performs overall? Thanks thumb.gif

First of all, what will you be cooling with it and at what voltage/clock?

It'll be for a 6700k that I'll (hopefully) overclock to say 4.5+ghz at somewhere around ~1.3v?

Well, that arctic freezer 360 will cool it just fine, but just like every CLC, its using a sub-par aluminium radiator with a dinky pump. If you really want it, that's fine, but there's better stuff out there.

I'd recommend something but I have no idea where you're from, so no idea what available to you. (unless "az" is short for something, but I don't have a clue).

What would you recommend that's available on the NA market? (Az is short for Arizona).

Any of the Swiftech X2 series (including the 240mm, which will outperform the 360mm CLCs while staying quieter), the EK Predator series or a good air cooler. The Swiftech offers better noise/performance than the EK, has a better pump should you ever want to expand and runs a little less money. The H220-X2 or H240-X2 will be far more than enough to cool what you are intending.

HI DawgBone ,

ı buyed freezer 360 cooler via Arctic web site. unit very simple and build quality upper intermediate. unit comes whit 6 pwm fan. I have freezer 360 and corsair h115i . freezer 360 tube diameter small than h115i.

freezer 360 pump need only 3 pin power. no need sata power. you cannot add fan freezer 360 . and no have led. but pump dead slient no griding or buzzing noise totaly silent.

ı have fx 9590 cpu and cosmos 2 case when ı ınstall this cooler my cpu temp max 62C after 2 hours play bf4 and run some cinebench ( ı use noctua nf-f12 pwm 5x)

I dont agree whit you. ı think you shoul read guru 3d review . ek series cant beat corsair h115i 280 mm radiator.

I don't agree with you, and I have used and tested a fair few AIO CLC and lots of air coolers. I've tested H110 variants against top air with high performance fans similar to what CLCs us and found air coolers at same noise levels to be 4-7c better cooling than CLCs

@ciarlatano has used and tested many more AIO, CLC and air coolers against each other and proved Asetek / sailboat CLC are simply not as good at similar noise levels.
He has also used, tested and compared top air coolers like Cryorig R1 be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 and PHanteks PH-TC14PE and found them to perform as good as NH-D15.

How many have you used and tested?

I don't agree with you. I don't need to read the Guru 3D article. I have tested multiple samples of these in controlled environments with strict test methods. I can refer to actual doing it rather than reading a review.
