120 minutes before i buy my second cloth pad (last minute advices accepted) - Page 3

If you're coming from hard pads, I would suggest something like TF/TFX pads from Zowie, and maybe surfaces similar to the Razer Goliathus Control or the Control pads from Cougar.

For cloth pads:

Natural fiber (e.g. qck, mm200) -- slow
Synthetic fiber (e.g. nylon) -- fast.

I don't know if I consider the qck heavy slow - I'm using the revised one (with the dozen qck logos on the back) and this thing is faster than I remember it - basically it offers no tactile feedback and a medium speed glide - not sure if keeping it in the closet for so long changed something or if using it upsidedown changes anything (shouldn't) but uhh yeah I wouldn't call it slow. I'd call the G-SR slow, mud slow in fact

Someone gave me a QcK Mass with that new base design, and I've felt the same. It doesn't feel like the previous ones and neither like the ones with the old logo. It feels a bit rougher to the touch as well.

The Hien would be a bad choice if you're looking for something with less friction than a qck. You should give the Hayate Otsu Mid a shot. That's a pretty fast cloth pad.

The fastest cloth pad i've ever tried is Roccat Sense and i actually switched to it after using Func 1030XL R2(great pad btw) for 6 months. It is much faster than a regular QCK, Goliathus Speed/Control, GT-F Speed and unlike the GT-F it doesn't feel rough. The only downside of this pad for me is it's size, but if you're ok with 40*28cm pad you should definitely try it.
