750 G2 seems to be dying.

Recently my computer has had an issue anytime i try to get it out of sleep mode it goes into a boot loop and requires flipping the psu switch waiting a minute and then restarting. This is on an asus x99 strix mobo with a 6800k system is STOCK on Win10 Pro. AI suite also complained of a power issue the other day though I have been led to believe the asus software is garbage at that.

I've seen a couple of similar issues in my research and all of them seem to point to some type of PSU issue.
Could it be something else?

That being said a couple of questions. has anyone dealt with EVGA RMA process... I removed the big side sticker from my psu but I do still have the original box. secondary to that I have a cablemod cable set. should I be concerned that the cables may be the issue. Likely what I would be inclined to do is buy a new one and keep all my cables as they sit. then hopefully use the RMA'd unit in a secondary rig I have.

Thanks for any and all help!

Well back in the day my Z68 Asus mobo caused boot loops from time to time, something to do with the BIOS so maybe check to see if it's a known issue? Also I've heard of Windows 10 looping after coming out of sleep mode so may be another thing to follow up on. Worst case scenario, yeah it could be a hardware fault.

Man I wish you had posed this about 12 hours ago hahahahahah replaced the psu. Nothing. Then I thought about it a bit more and reflashed my bios. Ding ding ding we have a winner. As best I can figure it was a bad bios flash because I reflashed the same bios and it works much better now thanks though!

Hahaha glad to hear you got it fixed at least. It was a bit of a weird issue tho, but the only BIOSes I've ever had trouble with are Asus ones so seemed fairly legit mad.gif

Yeah for sure the issue didn't start immediately with the bios update as far as I can tell and coincided with me moving to a new apartment so I assumed hardware.
