Lawl

Have you seen what AMD offer to the crowd ? No need advertisements, Just look at the reviews...
And, looking at AMD communication :
Polaris is highly efficient chip --> Maxwell and even Fiji are more efficient
VR --> What a joke !

With Pascal, nVidia is far away from AMD and it's a fact, not an advertisement.

It was cheaper and performed better in most everything except when hairworks was enabled. It really was a no brainer to bypass the 960. There haven't been many cards where it was as cut and dry, but the 960 was one case where it was.

I wonder if you've seen any of the reviews and remember the pricing outside US. The whole line was awful.

Yes I did see the reviews. That's why I remember the why the 960 was a bad release and only got worse as time went on. I do not remember pricing outside of the US though.

To which line are you referring?

The 270x wasn't bad, the 280 wasn't bad. the 285 was bad, the 290 was pretty darn good and the 290x wasn't bad
The 950 wasn't bad, the 960 was bad, the 970 was good, the 980 wasn't bad the 980ti was pretty good

edit for clarification.....pretty good=better than good...had some confusion with a friend over some chilli when I complimented his chilli so I know there are differences in how it's taken

Better check again. I was talking about the pricing of whole r9 line outside the US. Of course they were great value if one bought a used card but otherwise it was poor.

By the time the 960 launched the mining demand died down and retailers had to compete with used cards so at the time the 960's p/p was bad. It was the same reason the 285 was bad.

And that doesn't null and void the point.
