Evga and waranty with backplate?

Thread Starter
Got a 1080 SC with a backplate, and just like with the 290X cards i had, the backplate even heats up my AIO liquid cooling for the cpu. Can i safely remove the backplate? or will that void the waranty?

I'm pretty sure EVGA is fine with everything including, but not limited to removing the entire cooler as long as you send it back to them in its original condition in the event you do need to RMA it. And the backplate is mostly there for looks and dust protection so not really a biggie.

But when in doubt, I'm sure they included warranty terms of service with your card. Give it a read tongue.gif
