Air cooling compatible with Z97i AC

H100 bit the dust today, and I am in the market for a new cooling solution. Only problem is the wonky CPU socket location on my motherboard

What are my options? Would prefer to avoid another AIO, but will go that route if I have no other choice

While center CPU to near side of RAM is normal at about 49mm, to near side of PCIe socket is about 59mm, which is very close. What is your CPU to case clearance?

Sorry, I didn't even look at our sig rig. blushsmiley.gif

So we have:
Center CPU toward PCIe = 59-60.1mm
Center CPU toward RAM = 49-51mm
CPU clearance to case = 190mm

Is RAM HyperX Fury? it is 32.8mm tall, so 36mm above motherboard / 28mm above CPU

The problem measurement is the 59-60mm center CPU to near side PCIe socket. Not many air coolers are small enough in width to clear the PCIe socket.

We could use a cooler mounted so airflow is up away from PCIe

I think we would be able to fit something like a True Spirit 140 Rev.A with fan pulling air out of cooler. True Spirit 140 Rev. A is very good cooler. It cools within a couple degrees of the very best .. as good or better than NH-D14 and quieter too.

Question is can you get the True Spirit 140 Rev. A cooler where you live?
