Mousepad similar to QcK+, with stitched edges?

Like the title says. I would like to get another QcK+, but they just wear down really fast for me at the bottom edge. Thing is I am really familiar with that thing, I never had any other brand for a mousepad for like 6 or 7 years so I am a bit hesitant to get a different one because the glide or friction might turn me off.

What about the Razer Gigantus or Goliathus? How much faster would a Glorious be compared to a QcK? I'm just roughly looking for one that's similar to the QcK+.

Most similar pad I've found so far to QCK+ is Dechanic Speed, both in surface and thickness/rubber consistency. I've heard that corepad deskpads are also quite similar to QCK.

Haven't found anything that perfectly matches it thus far, but I only really look at pads that are XXL since I don't have a durability problem. I still prefer my QCK+ to the dechanic, but it can honestly be placebo. Who knows.

Alioth is very firm, flat, and thin; almost like a hard pad with a cloth surface. QCK+ is less firm by comparison.

The Alioth is a great pad though, and definitely is in the same ballpark as the QCK+, along with the dechanic speed. I'd honestly give them both a try if you have the cash, but the Alioth is kinda pricey.

I had a hard time transitioning from qck+ to (blue) g-sr. It has a very different glide/control imo. I was constantly overshooting on the g-sr, the stopping power was by far better on the qck while at the same time the qck had less friction and better glide.

My aim was completely off for a few days and it never became as controllable and consistent as on the qck+.

I stopped using the g-sr, got a mionix alioth and never looked back to qck and gsr.

For me its Alioth >> QcK >>>> G-SR

Thanks, i just bought a Glorious XL Heavy to replace my QcK+ which is only 2mm thick. That's a problem when you often lift your mouse and play on a glass desktop

The Glorious surface is much closer to a GS-R feel than QCK.

Honestly, the closest you can get to a QCK surface is the standard generic mouse pad you see everywhere. I just buy QCK+ for the thinness as I don't like thick mousepads. If you use QCK Heavy, might as well just buy a big dollar store mousepad, it's essentially the same thing.

Would you say the glide is slower on the QcK+, compared to the Glorious ?
The thickness is one of the reason i ordered the Glorious XL Heavy, with the QcK+ 2mm, i can literally feel how cold my glass desktop is though the mouse mat.

Yes, QCK is much slower glide, but to me the GS-R/Glorious type surface have a stop/start friction when making small movements I don't like. Could be my environment though (humid).

Or your mouse. My G303 doesn't glide the same way as my Rival on the QcK+. I'll post my impressions when i get the Glorious XL Heavy.

I just recieved my Glorious XL Heavy, the edges are not super flat yet due to it being new. Coming from a QcK+ i can feel a clear difference between the two, but this difference is mainly due to a sum of attributes, it's not like the Glorious blows the QcK+ out of the water in every department, but you can say it's one notch higher in every criteria.

The glide is smoother on the Glorious, and slightly faster. The difference isn't blatant but the surface is more flat, there is no denying it. Also, it's nicer to the touch when you put your arm on it. The QcK+ felt more rough. The glide is not that much faster, meaning i won't have to change my in game sens.
The added thickness is definitely a plus. Playing on the Qck+, i could feel the cold hard surface beneah it. Not anymore, this thickness gives you comfort.
I can't feel a "start" friction when moving the mouse, like the QcK+, the Glorious XL Heavy allow me to be pixel accurate by making micro-corrections to my aim. I can however notice an added "stopping" friction when the mouse movement ends, it's difficult to notice and can be a plus in FPS games.
The stitched edges are nice considering the fact that i like putting my wrist on the edge of the mousepad outside of gaming.

Edit: Okay, so i played some FFA DM in CS:GO and i noticed my aim and target acquisition being much better. My playstyle is already snappy, the superior glide plus that stop friction thing made it snappier, my aim is sharper and the crosshair stops exactly at the place i want it to stop, resulting in some "What the **** ?" moments when i land a headshot i wasn't expected to land. For info, i play with a G303 at 1000 dpi, 1 sens.
I hope this mousepad will resist the trial of time, i don't see myself buying anything else to replace it.

That'd already be enough for me to go for it...

I use 500 CPI and 1.75 CS sens/5.83 OW sens on my G403, but I think unless I would go for high sensitivity that it'd be fine. If the stopping friction is as good as with the QcK+ and even better, that'll be great actually.

I mean I just didn't want a mousepad where I would say right away that it wouldn't fit me... But if you adjusted to it nicely and if it feels more comfortable than the QcK I will go for that one, thanks.

We both use mice with the PMW3366 and are previous QcK+ users, i don't think i make a mistake by saying you won't need any adjustment period with this mouse mat.

Glorious is a satin pad, totally different feel from QCK.

I don't like the glorious at all, much prefer QCK (heavy over + as well)
I have both and the feel is not that different. The Glorious has a synthetic feel to it, it's more smooth. The QcK, you can tell it's pure natural cloth.
The Glorious texture feels much nicer when you play with your forearm on the mousepad. But the overall difference is not that obvious.
