Pressing some keys on the keayboard is triggering "q"

Hello guys,

Recently i bough this keyboard - http://www.bloody.tw/usa/productsKEY.php?pid=11&id=72

However when I was playing GTA 5 or another game i had to disable the "Q" button because in GTA 5 for example when i was driving the radio was chagin almost any 2 seconds.

So then I found out that the following combination of buttons if pressed at the same time or just when typing fast: A+E; A+E; E+F; A+F; A+S; E+S is trigerring the "Q" button. Examples:

Pressing A and then S fairly quick one after another: asqasasaqsasasaqsaqsaqqsaq
Pressing A and then F fairly quick one after another: afqaqfaqfaqfaqffqaqfqaqfaqfqaq
Pessing E+F: aqfaqfaqfaqfafqaqfaqfaqfqaqfqaqfaqfqaqf

You get the point. This is happening only with those keys( which are also "Infrared mechanical switches")- with the other keys everything is fine, no issue whatsoever. I just want to know if there is any possibility this to be a software issue? There are no drivers available to download from the Bloody official page for example. Tried switching to every USB port available on my motherboard- still the same issue.

I would really appritiate anyone who has any idea what might be the exact issue or i should just go back and return it for example/ get another or even other model keyborad/.

Thank you in an advance smile.gif

Could very well be something screwed up on the PCB board itself. I never really heard of or looked into these kind of mech keyboards so I am not too familiar with infrared switches. You could try something like AutoHotKey and completely re-map your keyboard but honestly I would return it for a replacement (if you really like the keyboard).

This sounds like what's known as "ghosting". It's when they cheap out on how they read the key presses, and holding some keys can give a false positive. This would be in the keyboard design, and would be on every one (so RMA wouldn't help).

There could just be something wrong with your Q key though, I don't know anything about how those switches work either tongue.gif.
