I'm Deciding To Build A Gaming PC Soon...

Hi All,

I'm planning to build a Gaming PC soon and I was wondering if this build would be okay to do gaming?

Specifications
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 (I don't intend to overclock)
Motherboard: ASUS H110M-E mATX LGA1151 Socket
PSU: Corsair VS Series 650w
SSD: Intel 540s Series 120GB
Case: Cooler Master NSE-300-KNN1 mATX/ATX Mid Tower
GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: Kingston Fury 8GB 2x4GB 2133MHz RAM

Like I said I'm not overclocking it. So do you think it's okay.

Any questions will be appreciated smile.gif

PS: I've already got a 1TB HDD somewhere.

16gb of ram

Can i ask why that 160 dollar motherboard?  If you want H110M-A there are 60 dollar ones that will do fine.

Edit:  NM, some reason newegg is charging 160 dollars for that when others are 79.

advice 1 : downgrade your PSU to around 500-550w (no SLI option anyway), save a few bucks

advice 2 : seeing that you did not include a harddisk in your list, with just a 120GB SSD, the space will be consumed almost instantly. If you don't have an extra harddisk sitting around that you missed to mention, I'd suggest you pick up a regular 1~2TB for storage on the side.

EDIT : lol I'm blind.

I'm currently going through MSY QLD and it's $85 for that motherboard.

The total cost now is $990 + Shipping $37 = $1027 (That's by shaving 100w btw biggrin.gif)

I was setting my eyes upon either ThermalTake or Aerocool 500w-600w PSUs, but I dunno if those brands are better than Corsair.

The best options for psu are Corsair RM 550X and Evga 550 Supernova G2.

You can't really trust brands, Corsair makes some really good PSU's and some that aren't that good, like the VS. You need to look at who build the unit, whats inside it and how it performs. Brands mean next to nothing when it comes to PSU's.

Can you link to the shop you'll be buying from so i can see what's available?
