The are Boost Clocks not Actual Boost clocks. All those card go higher during benchmarks.

QB is developed by Remedy but was partially funded by Microsoft. Huge difference there.

lol Forza and Gears are the best releases on PC right now. Only you lose.

That's right, because I don't already have a massive backlog of games to play so I absolutely must play these two games.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to be happy with compromising both AA and Insane settings.

Is there any advantage to pre-ordering the game, monetary or otherwise? Because if not, I'll wait till they release the SLI patch. The game won't be playable for me without SLI anyway.

Really looking forward to this game, especially the multi-gpu support. I am pretty confident that my rig will run this game without an issue. If you have a decent mid-range crossfire/sli setup from the 28nm generation of cards you will not need to 1080 to run this game in 4k.

Edit - Just realized that there will not be multi-gpu support at lauch, I will wait and pick up the game once it supports crossfire. BF1 will have day 1 crossfire support no need to rush and pick this up unitl its patched.

Played for a couple hours tonight after the monster download. What a sweet game! It's absolutely beautiful and the game play was super fun and engaging. Can't wait to keep going.

Here's the benchmark results from my new rig (no overclocking).

CPU: Intel 6800k
GPU: MSI 1080 Sea Hawk Ek
RAM: 32GB Dominator Platinum 3000

CPU temp maxed out at 43C

Not doing that gpu justice at 1080p. It should be at full 99%. You should upgrade to 1440p or 4k ASAP.

**EDIT**

I seen you added 1440p/4k benchmarks as well. Excellent. I thought you was only playing @1080p. It runs and looks very nice huh? I am digging it so far. Incredible when devs put the time and effort for PC with what they can pull off. We need quality releases like this more often. They give so many options to play and tweak for PC users. Just WOW! It has not been like this in years.

Awesome. thumb.gif

Yeah, gears is special from a movement/gameplay point of view. I hope the MP is successful on PC, it aint no joke, it takes a lot of skill to master so a lot of people usually drop out. Gnasher gameplay is some of the best fun to be had out of any games PVP.

If you're at 1080p then use the dynamic scaling/res setting, it will look super clean. wink.gif
