Not the best performance out there but definitely not awful. Did these guys downclock their cards or mixed up their 1080's with 680's?

Just did a 10 minutes benchmark driving around the city and fighting people.

1440p/Max(High) settings/60fps cap.

What are you seeing with unlimited FPS? Max settings @1440p. I cant get my OSD to work in Precision to see.

Exact same thing. Seems the game is tied to monitor's refresh rate.

GTAV was in development for PC for way longer than 2 years. The leaked logs that are out show it in early development as early as 2011. Pair that with a fact that it *wasn't a port*.

That's odd. 47(49) is near the minimum I get. I mostly stay around the high 50's to 60.

I mean 2 extra years for it to come to PC. I would think it was not a Xbox 360 port but PC version was probably codeveloped with Xbox One/PS4 in mind since they share similar architecture.

More like - PC version was developed with the 360/PS3 versions in tandem, and when the new consoles were announced, they decided to hold off on the PC versions, build the new console versions from the PC version, and like always, hold off on a PC release because reasons.

It's always more accurate to assume the worst.

Well of course you are, unless you do the exact same benchmark you'll get a different result.
