Awesome stuff, I'd love to get a multi-monitor setup like that, with less bezel of-course.
The most I've used is 3 monitors.

Hopefully more people find out about being able to run 4 way Pascal SLI and try it.

This guy ran the Battlefield 1 Open Beta at 8K with a 4 way Titan X Pascal SLI setup, it's crazy! Video.

Waaaaay to much bezel with 2x2

The best multi-screen, multi gpu setup at the moment is triple debezzeled Dell S2417DGs as 4320 x 2560 @ 165hz gsync is pretty epic!

Which is essentially 5K

SLI had some sync problems on CS thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

five 4K monitors not far. 50 fps on Crysis 3. Linus had fun... and i like it.

DSR is so practical, it's kind of weird that he chose to go SLI and Multi-Monitor (other than for the drama).

It would be awesome if we could get regular benchmarks at 8K.

Apparently DSR has some massive issues upscailing 4k. I'm sure he wasn't aware and was just going for effect.

Also, at the very least crysis framerates are completely invalid, as it was evident by the afterburner ui poping over the crysis window. He was using borderless windowed mode in that test, not sure about the others. In borderless windowed, sli, plus surround you're sacrificing anywhere between 20 to 50% percent in performance. Also, contrary to the nvidia advice on connecting the displays to separate cards in sli, you should in fact connect them to the first card, as otherwise there will be a performance penalty.

So to quote top gear, ambitious, but rubbish.

Being able to, and having a reasonable experience are far apart and probably far between. That was the situation prior to them choosing to cut support. How do you think the situation fairs now?

4K and 1440p ultrawide are approaching perfection, but there's one huge problem with all of them - LCD. Bring on OLED!
