The only reason that a mouse seems to "support" a overclock driver in current market , is that they use the MOT pin on the sensor to generate an interrupt or set a flag. When the MCU use the USB engine to send sth, this intterupt routine should be disabled, which makes the higher USB polling useless.

Good luck to you. Analyze what you have because it may be worth more to you as an accomplishment unless you can explicitly explain the benefits and purpose.

Most likely not a troll, just someone who succeeded in a project but is slightly confused. His next question may be if somebody knows how to run a business because that explanation would be very helpful as well biggrin.gif

I'm all in favor of progression, but when we get into a conversation or situation about a mysterious product which would eventually end in the hands of a consumer and be opened as well as reverse engineered, then there is no point in riding a magical double tailed unicorn. If he is asking multiple people for help then there is chance of error due to the fact he does not understand all the aspects allowing someone to take advantage of him or point him in the wrong way.

I wouldn't say troll but I would say maybe just young. Hard to just go make a company based around an 8khz mouse which may offers the same additional performance as a 100khz mouse?

For all we know this guy is selling the idea to Logitech right now

ohhhhh it's that guy?! He also posted something similar on another chinese language forum. I'd have to find it though, not that there's much point now that you've established it.

As I said ,I 'm not trying to hide something. Considering the right of potential business partner, I choose not to share everything temporary,
Not quite understand the rage at me, I do my best to make a awsome mouse , that's all.

And thank you for the link to teensy 3.6, that inspired me use a mode like Kickstarter. And I'm not going to sell anything in this forum.

You know you are allowed to make money out of open-source designs, right?
And that you can publish sources without allowing people to use the design to make moneyz?

I'm not familar with that. But I do know PJRC use a cryptic bootloader in his teensy, that's a way to prevent colone the source.

You can make money with an open-source design, but not if it uses other open-source/free elements with copyleft licenses.
