I am afraid Samsung are not interested to fix that bug. Just buy a new phone!

I have some problems hearing at the moment, that probably will take more that a year to solve, so it is really not that big a problem for me, that I cant have my music collection on the phone, but it looses a bit of its cool factor  biggrin.gif

And there went my desire for the Note 4 frown.gif
EDIT: I wonder if you'd get that issue if you rooted the phone and installed an AOSP ROM on it?
Well then.......so that happened. Such a shame since it was a well-received phone. So are we going to get the Note 7s that won't explode in our pockets or nah?

That sounds more like an issue with the SD card being faulty, not the phone. My note 4 has run with a 128GB SD card since I bought it a year and a half ago, 0 problems. 256GB card replaced that a month ago, still no issues.

Sadly, I have an iphone now, because samsung doesnt care to make their phones with replaceable batteries, and screw spending $850 on a sealed battery (iphone SE was $400).

Maybe, but i have tested the card with h2testw before use and some other users have had similar problems after MM update. Are there some other test I can perform?

The reboots happens ,not when I am using the phone, but when it is resting, so i have thought it might be something with dose.

EDIT: And it is an EU version from a Danish/German supplier.

EDIT2: Currently testing with H2test again. With my laptop and supplied SD adaptor.

EDIT3: Tested ok with H2test. Did not want to hijack tread, so just and edit.

Yea that does make more sense.

& I like customization too much to switch to an iPhone. I don't think I'll ever adopt Apple's closed ecosystem without wanting to pull my hair out because I can't do little modifications to anything.

do you have another device with a SD clot you could test it in?

Granted, my note 4 is still on LP, so MM may have screwed something up. I wouldnt put it past samsung to do that. (the same company that tanked the S3's battery life on sprint, and broke SIM compatibility on another model, ece. Their final updates seem to really be hit or miss. )

Don't get me started on the S3. And I have a feeling they did the same with the S4. Granted rooting a Galaxy device has almost always reduced battery life since KitKat became outdated, but still.........

The verizon S4 and t mobile S4 developed the same problem. I dont think they ever fixed the tmo version.

Samsung's updates are awful. they break more then they fix. It feels like windows 2000 updates.

Samsung is losing like $17 Billion in sale lost from Note 7. That is a lot of money.

You'd be better off with a Kenmore. LoL

It's almost as if it's better to buy the phone, then immediately root &flash it before any update from Samsung comes out.
